Fawn Grove Compassion Center, Inc. (FGCC) is a faith-based humanitarian and charitable organization that distributes clothing, crisis care kits (personal hygiene items), school supplies (notebooks, pens, pencils), household goods and materials to a needy world. We collect these items from groups and individuals and make them available to vulnerable people in developing countries as well as disaster response in the United States.
The Corporation is organized as a public benefit corporation and shall operate exclusively for charitable, religious, health and social purposes so as to qualify under the provisions of Sections 509(a)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (or the corresponding provision of any future United States Internal Revenue law) [the "Code"].
The charitable, health and social purposes of this Corporation includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Providing assistance to economically disadvantaged peoples in the United States and elsewhere;
Disaster mitigation and emergency relief;
Promote and organize volunteerism;
Promote and organize partnerships;
Long-term development projects;
Seeking funding for, and participation in, various grant programs for relief and long-term development projects; and the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
Our Mission: To provide these to the underserved and assist the ministry of others.
Our Vision: Serve the needs of others as a compassionate ministry pursuing excellence and quality, and facilitating the movement of donated items to those in need.
Our Goal: To make a difference in the lives of those who do not have clothing and educational supplies and to provide personal hygiene items to those who have experienced a disaster
FGCC sends shipments of clean, laundered, and neatly packed clothing, Crisis Care Kits, School Pal-Paks, and many other items to those in need all around the world.
Since 1996, more than 400 shipments have been sent to countries such as Zambia, Ukraine,
The warehouse is managed by three devoted employees and countless generous donors and volunteers. Each piece of clothing, toy or accessory is inspected, cleaned, packed into boxes that are labeled and weighed. Great care is taken with every box in the hopes that Christ’s love shines through detailed work.
As a program, Gifts-in-Kind (GIK) has earned an excellent reputation with several countries’ governments that are skeptical of most donating programs. FGCC GIK deals with an impressive amount of red tape in clearing shipments with different government’s customs offices, but has been successful in building relationships and trust. Because of this reputation, we require high standards of quality of the donated goods. On our site you will find many guidelines we ask that you abide by. Please know this is not to be overly picky, but to convey a message of love to the person who will eventually receive it as a gift from his brothers and sisters in Christ.
The Gifts-in-Kind is made possible by your donations and willingness to volunteer. Thank you for helping us to give hope and help to those in need around the world.
